Exactly. Ranching them is not very fun because of the multiple ambiguities. You can't put a drop-off for them on the water because it floods, but you also can't set a fish drop-off to accept pokes. They can't eat from the fish feeder, but the critter feeder floods underwater. Maybe it's the intention to have them on hybrid ranches, but it feels more like these are inconsistencies introduced involuntarily when changes were implemented to stop the "drowning tactics". Pokes are a very un-fun critter to ranch if you want them underwater (and I don't like generic practical-only ranches for my critters). If ranches could be larger than 96 tiles, maybe hybrid ranches would be a little more fun/pretty to maintain.

Either way, I'm loving the aquatic dlc. On that note, the underwater breathing stations cause a weird event when the dupe is almost out of breath. Once they empty the station (because they breathe faster than the station can be filled), they drop it, but immediately try to use it again because a little oxygen just entered and their "breathing bar" has a couple pixels empty. I've seem a dupe doing this pick/drop cycle like 5 to 7 times (even though they were 99% recovered), until I manually moved them to another place to stop the cycle.

Please consider these changes before fully releasing the Aquatic Planet Pack DLC! If you agree with me, please like the comment or give suggestions, thanks!

The Aquatic Planet Pack DLC is super cool but the only issue I have with it (or I guess a general change made regardless of the DLC) is that the Waterweed plant doesn’t require Bleach Stone as a fertilizer any more. Bleach Stone has so few uses, like 2 or 3, and now one less use because of this change. Now the only use for Bleach Stone is to make Biodiesel and for the Hand Sanitizer building (both are completely option to use on I believe every asteroid), or to transport chlorine which can also be done with gas pipes. Each Waterweed plant only uses 500g/cycle Bleach Stone which is barely anything, and you are able to easily get Bleach Stone outside of the starting biome (i.e. Rust biome, Radioactive biome, and lots in the Ocean Biome), which encourages you to explore outside of the starting biome somewhat early game. You are also able to renewably make Bleachstone on the the Aquatic Asteroid by ranching the Gildgo (hot morph of the snail critter) for gold to make Bleach Stone in the Bleach Stone Hopper (also making the Hopper useful), encouraging you to ranch one of the new critters during the mid- or late-game. I understand removing the Bleach Stone fertilizer requirement from Waterweeds was to make the early game "easier", but it removed the uniqueness of the plant, removed a feature that wasn’t really an issue, and removed a use for Bleach Stone which already had so few uses. The only thing that would need to be done to keep the Bleach Stone fertilizer requirement for Waterweeds is add one or two small Bleachstone deposits to the starting biome.

Please revert the changes for Waterweeds so they still require Bleach Stone, or at least give Bleach Stone more uses. Sulfur was given a lot of new uses in this DLC which is awesome...but at the expense of Bleach Stone :(

Also, I think changing the color for Salt Water may be needed. Water and Salt Water now have the same color, making it hard to tell the difference, especially when zoomed out a bi, despite the "salt particles" in the salt water. The change in color difference between salt water and brine was a good decision to make it easier to tell them apart, but the same issue is now present with water and salt water. The salt particles in salt water are super cool, but I think giving salt water a slight white tint or something would be super useful, like a less saturated and more transparent version of brine. Not entirely sure what would be best though.

The unknown duplicant appeared on two places simultaneously, before I'd delivered the pearls. Seed: AQU-C-726334593-HIJYM31-17-J5XRH4Y1
On the test version they were appearing correctly.

edit: just found them on the polluted brine biome, and at the same time on the swamp (I didn't delivered the sushi yet).
