Happiness now affects the reproduction rate of critters beyond just a threshold for their mood. It can be hard to calculate how much value you get for say, putting a critter condo and getting +1 happiness. So I did some testing to see how the reproduction is calculated.

At 0 happiness, you only have the base reproduction rate. For every point after that, you get 2 x base reproduction to that, so for pacu with base 7.5 every happiness point increases it by 15%. At 4 happiness the rates are exactly the same as before, and going below 4 doesn't immediately drop to base rate. I managed to get it up to 180%/cycle on pacu, which is insane.

I tested this with Pacu, Glo Squid, Dreckos, and Dartles, and the results seemed consistent, thought I may be completely wrong because the game doesn't show decimals so I had to make a few guesses.

TLDR: it increases linearly based on the base reproduction of the critter. 8 happiness will almost double the output of 4 happiness.

If my math is right, that means a pre-nerf Pacu could potentially produce enough omelettes for 10 dupes! (3200kcal eggs -> 5600kcal omelettes * 1.8 eggs per cycle = 10,080)
