I have a ~1200 cycle old game that I've been battling  "Unreachable source cell"  crashes on.  Usually just staying of the main map for a cycle has cleared the issue but not anymore.  I was running a few mods but am now only running DupSelector.  My last 5 crashes have all happened at almost the same game time (as far as I can tell) and have the same error.

 Unreachable source cell - 30261xFloor -> 30259

I take this to mean that a dup is trying to go somewhere but there is an issue with where.  This happens about 2/3 into the cycle and the game freezes, then windows pops up to kill the game, no ONI crash report.

Is there a way to tell where "source cell - 30261xFloor -> 30259" is on my map so I can do something about it? any help is appreciated.

My game used to crash a lot when materials or dupes would cross a boundary that was past the neutronium. You could try debug tools and clear/mop/destroy and replace the neutronium and see if that fixes it, but AI is also telling me other things might also be the case: [Disclaimer; I have no idea where these links go to]

An "unreachable source cell" crash in Oxygen Not Included (ONI) is almost always caused by a pathing calculation error—often triggered by broken/outdated mods, zooming too far out in large colonies, or malformed pipe/conveyor networks. [1, 2]
Apply the following steps, in order, to resolve the issue:
1. Disable Mods
Broken mods are the number one cause of pathing and source cell crashes. [1]
  • Unsubscribe from recently added or UI-related mods in the Steam Workshop.
  • Disable all mods in the main menu, restart the game, and see if the crash persists.
  • If the game runs without crashing, re-enable your mods one by one to isolate the culprit. [1]
2. Verify Game Files
Corrupted game files or missing updates can cause the pathing engine to fail. [1]
  • Open your Steam Library, right-click Oxygen Not Included and select Properties.
  • Navigate to the Installed Files tab and click Verify integrity of game files.
  • Wait for Steam to repair any missing or corrupted files, then relaunch the game. [1, 2]
3. Check for Pipe/Conveyor Loop Errors
A source cell crash usually involves liquid, gas, or solid conduits trying to path through an invalid or unreachable space.
  • Look for unfinished piping or conveyor rails in your base.
  • Ensure all bridges and shutoffs are correctly oriented and that materials haven't gotten stuck in unbuildable segments.
4. Rebuild the Affected Building
If the crash is tied to a specific project your Duplicants are working on:
  • Cancel the current task/build order.
  • Deconstruct or cancel any surrounding ladders or tiles Duplicants might be trying to use to reach the area.
  • Re-issue the build command carefully to give the game's pathfinding AI a clean slate. [1, 2, 3]
