skill trees illegitimately obtained

years ago when the first few skill trees released (wilson woodie and wolfgang iirc?), i used a command to get all of the insight points and force spawned the lunar and nightmare bosses respectively. i dont remember what theyre called.

is there at all a way to reset these? im fairly certain i can get rid of those insight points through messing with the config files, but.. what about the alignments? is there any way to reset them so I have to defeat the bosses in a legitimate playthrough?

i’ve refrained from picking any alignments so far as i don’t think it’s fair that i even have the option yet ^^;

Navigate to. 

 

Documents/Klei/DoNotStarveTogether

There should be folder with a number go there and go to.another folder called client_save. 

 

In there delete the file skilltree 

It holds all the XP unlocked and activated skills.

if you dont want to do file navigation, there are some mods that allow you to add/remove skill points and other conditions
 

dont quite remember their names but should show up if you search insight remover, skill manager something along those lines

File navigation is simpler than subbing and unsubbing from a mod

I wouldn't recommend this as I've heard horror stories of some of those mods breaking the skill point system and leaving people without skill points and the ability to gain skill points.

thats interesting, luckily i havent had that issue although ive only used it to remove points after beta's have ended, the vast majoritty of the time i keep it inactive
