Both have a Pure Horror insert. The one on top has x7 range boosts. The one below has 0.

But be aware, when I uploaded that video, the buff that makes them move faster than using Nightmare Fuel hadn't been implemented yet.

The range boosters only affect the drones who are linked to you directly. With the warm stanby perk the range boosters can increase the range of the drones linked to a chassis.

Amazing! I'll double check that in the morning- that's different to what I thought would happen. I thought that maybe you had to have x7 rangeboosts in your active body but it was affecting nearby chasis drones.

Given the rangebooster effecting drone range is a 'tinker' skill perk and not it's base ability (wiki says base ability is just increasing visibility range); I thought it would have zero effect from warm standby (other tinker effects don't apply like the torch light doesn't work on warm standby).

If rangebooster is unique in that tinker still applies in chasis-mode warm standby; then I'm actually keen to pick up that skill. having a bunch of range boosts in a base chasis so it can tidy your entire base and harvest all farms would be awesome; and you don't have to commit all those slots onto your active chasis just to have good base automation.

added extra context of what I thought was happening

After seeing everyone who supported this post, I decided to start developing a mod with some of these changes. It probably still has several bugs, but if anyone is interested in trying it, I would greatly appreciate the feedback.
