Hello, amazing hotfix guys, lots of cool new stuff to play with, lunnar affinity seems ina  really good place now having some more early uses with all that new inventory real state, the new shadow affinity its so ncie tho having cheap emergency energy, but its about the other part of the shadow affinity that i ve come to talk here, the new drones are incredibly cooler than the original effects no doubt of that, but after testing them and trying them on a few fights i think there are some big issues that need adressing.

Separating the effects of harvesting and extra dmg in different components its something that i liked, those two skills shine in completly diferent situations and changing betweem then feels better and way less annoying.

Now with the needed changes, Vicky and company offer a lesser buff than the affinity did before, its more expensive and its complete power, which is still less than it was before, is locked post rift, not to mention they are also slower, none boss mobs are practicly dead by the time Vicky arrives. This is not an ideal spot for a dmg boosting effect, here are my proposals to make it better:

-Make the two drones you get from pluging the shadow atrium give +25% dmg each, for a total of +50% phisical dmg. (yes this is twice as good as it was before but i think for the added cost its worth it)

-Make the two aditional drones you get from pluging a possesed shadow atrium give +7,5 plannar dmg each, for a total of +15 plannar dmg. (please stop giving us phisical dmg boosts post rifts, +10% phisical dmg is nothing against most plannar mobs)

-Make drones not break unless Wx changes affinity or shadow component

-Make the drones effect aply on an area around the mob they are scanning(this is because when fighting hordes of enemies, the drones will only target a single one, and in very big numbers of trash mobs like bees or spiders i ve noticed you can kill the enemies before they switch to from the last target to the new one, there are also situation where the drones switch rapidly between mobsin a horde and they dont end up apliying).

Four drones scanning the target looks redundant to me, it also starts slow. You could really just socket different shadow item for one drone, and give it different power level.

For example, 

5% damage when empty, 10% with nightmare fuel, 10% physics dmg and some planner damage with pure horror.

Atrium on the drone for +20% damage on one target, the drone can move faster.

while processed atrium gives +20%dmg plus planner for a bigger buff range and to an area of targets.

I fully agree with every idea in your post, but I think the numbers shouldn’t be this high — nor should they stay as low as they are right now.

The initial two drones should only grant around 15%–25% physical damage in total, keeping it close to the old balance.

I agree that the two additional drones should deal a total of around 15 planar damage.

So wx78 wont overpower most of the characters, wx already has super speed, highest possible max health, retalation damage and can ignore 2 seasons + other factors.
Lunar skill already can make him output 250% more damage at the cost of more resources, if you could deal just 50% with minimal effort, it would make him maybe even better than Wolfgang.

I agree with what you say.

 

50% with 15 planar is too high. The extra planar damage will be enough.

Need to remember that Wendy and Wigfrid exists and that this is one skill point. Heck, need to even remember Wolfgang exists to an extent.

because outisde of wolfgang, the max damage increase a normal character can have is 25%, so having wx have 50% out of nowhere is strange
