i really dont get why shadow affinity was nerfed so harshly.

the fact that you need to craft the drones is really what gets me, especially since apparently the atrium ones are impermanent. You're telling me i have to give up a shadow atrium therefore prolonging the amount of time until i can fight FW or craft a shadow maul, and thats STILL not all im sacrificing? Not to mention if you want to take advantage of the boulderbough veins and the mimics you still need to get more atriums - not that that's a bad thing, it makes sense WX wouldn't have the atrium across all chassis, its just that the only immediate benefit anymore requires multiple of an already important and hard to farm boss drop. i get that there would be a question of where they come from, but why not just make the drones appear around WX so its functionally identical to the old one just with more visual flair? 

The exploititator drones should also just scan in an area constantly when hostile mobs are nearby imo. Easy rangebooster synergy and makes them less clunky to use (and possible at all to use for crowd control). 25% -> 20% max boost on its own would be pretty minor, if unnecessary because of that, but thats post-rift numbers (for most of the game its the same as Abigail's hex is for other players) and exclusive to WX. Meanwhile Abigail can give that to ALL survivors right out of the gate in addition to being good for crowd control and ALSO IMPROVING POST RIFT. If it was condensed to 1 exploititator that gave the old 25% boost (and in an area to all allies without needing to be crafted first, as i said earlier) that would be fine. if you want that to improve post rift just tack on like +10 planar damage if the atrium is possessed.

If the drones were made innate to the injections instead of needing to be crafted otherwise, i think the PH boost should be something like... adding a more complex (and modifiable) item filter or just outright stuff like the drone moving faster or having its own mini inventory. or it should just do something other than upgrade the drones because the possessed atrium itself has another effect past the 2 the regular atrium has. point is even without the stuff im suggesting PH's boosts are pretty weak for how late youll usually get it and compared to how much more atrium and possessed atrium add beyond their drone, though i guess if you want the auto-grabber you might as well upgrade anyway.

i think separating the lazy forager effect and the damage boost effect is fine. We wanted it to be more nonlinear like circuits we and got that. I just wouldve expected more effects from some other shadow items (icker drones that drop slowing sludge, maybe?).

i liked the old shadow affinity. it couldve maybe used a bit of touching up on the visuals, but the effects were a nice alternative to the setup of the in-the-long-run-better lunar affinity. And i must iterate, i DO likethe drones as visuals for them, id just rather it was (roughly) the same as the old shadow affinity but with the new coat of paint.

the new update fixed some things, like the max bonus damage being 24%, but yea theres still things to fix

Wish they'd just revert... on a positive note, I really like the new chessmaster circuit. Overall, regardless of the shadow affinity, the skill tree is excellent

Disagreed. Redigest circuit can be overlapped. At first it requires 5 rot to produce a nutriblock, and each circuit reduces one rot to produce one. Maximum electricity is 7, so it can be 7 nutriblock. 5/4/3/2/1/?/?, Well, we don’t fit here.

This idea could be valid if we nerf Redigest circuit, but do we really need change?

My point is: Is anybody using this? With 1 slot you can have 2 spin circuits + one redigest circuit. With 2 slot as it is its Hard do fit any build...

It is not like the stacking must be linear. It could be whatever progression Klei likes, e.g., 5/4/4/3/3/3/2

redigestion is really the only one youll be using until spring, other than sonic invoker which lets you do sonic invoker + 2 redigestion. it's the early game gamma circuit and its fine where it is.

I got it, but does it make sense, since the more you play, more rot you get so in theory, this is a mid/end game circuit?
