Your Chester Posted April 7 Share Posted April 7 This blocking circuit is a joke, just like Wigfrid's shield—it's completely useless. Do the designers really think blocking is that strong? Wigfrid's shield was a good idea on paper, but the execution is total garbage. It deals less damage than the Ham Bat, has low damage output, long cooldowns on switching and blocking alike. I've played Wigfrid for 5,000 hours and only used the shield once; it's just that bad. I've been playing a multiplayer world for over two years and have never seen anyone craft it. Buff the shield's durability and damage, remove the switch cooldown, and reduce the blocking cooldown. Change the Wigfrid's Helmet (General's Helmet) durability regeneration so it repairs even when Wigfrid is not at full health! Cassielu Posted April 7 Share Posted April 7 (edited) Wig's shield was indeed lack effectiveness to disappointing. In fact, almost the entire skilltree of hers is like this. Playing a Wig that has all the skills and a Wig that has no skills at all makes no difference at all. I will like it if it have taunt(and klei said they're considering), if not it still can be a solution to hound attack or other group enemies without any cost. Just block(with out armour) with a 440hp, 3 electric circuit body, and back to 100hp body with beanbooster to regen. If they fix the problem that you force to quit blocking state when armour breaks it would be better. Her skill tree is the what I said "which skills are bad I won't pick them" type. ZeRoboButler Posted April 7 Share Posted April 7 The Shield is actually pretty good for certain bosses and situations, celestial champion and the scrappy were-pig are some good examples being able to block some of the more major attacks. It's pretty good for rooks too and if you do it right even the shadow chess pieces. Again the blocking concept isn't bad really, It's just a few things holding it back.
