This public testing hotfix fixes a bug that caused Mod Safe Mode to be entered incorrectly. It also adds some quality of life improvements to that mode, to help mod authors. If all goes well, we'll publish a release version of this build next Tuesday, March 31st without any further modifications.

If you would like to update your mod ahead of time, you can use the archived versions system so that it will be ready to go when the update drops.

Modding

  • Fixed a bug that caused the game to enter Mod Safe Mode after loading a save, even if it didn't crash.
  • Mod Safe Mode is disabled if a dev mod is enabled.
  • Mod Safe Mode warning message displayed again when Mods screen is opened.
  • Mod Safe Mode can be disabled by editing your kplayerprefs.yaml using the int key DisableAutoModSafeMode. For advanced users only.
