What I wanted to know here is what you guys think about her, because in my opinion (and I used to play a lot of Wurt), I started noticing that she is one of the easiest and strongest characters in the game. Then I realized that if I just spent enough time on the merms, I could literally beat every boss in the game without even having to participate in the fight myself.

The moment it really clicked for me was when I played with another character and saw how much harder it was and how it actually ended up being more fun because it offered a real challenge.

I even get a little frustrated when I want to play as Wurt, because I really like her unique gameplay and everything, but I also know that I just have to ignore the rest of the game, spam merms like crazy, and boom

I win.

I even saw mini discussions like this around the forum, and one person mentioned how they could then recruit a limited number of merm, but I don't know if it would make sense or not

Yep, that is Wurt. There's also late game Winona, and at every stage of the game Maxwell in multiplayer.

In multiplayer, it comes to a point that it's better to divide and conquer when playing along with Wurt or Winona, because your presence in the fight would be negligible.

I think that is fine, as soon as you add ~2 other players the game is x10 easier, so Wurt and Winona are basically that option but for solo play.

In a world where I was Winona and my friends were Wigfrid and Wolfgang, they would hunt bosses while I built base; I would only come if it was the second time they were going for the same boss, or if they wanted me to come (and for Celestial Champion because I am winona and all your enlightened shards are belong to us).

I think she is one of the strongest but not easy, the dificulty of the character is not as easy as saying yeah walter is easy cause i have experience with him and  know pretty well how to play him.

About this you have to know that all characters are different, they have different strategies to play and thats why this game is so fun, if you want a hard character that needs more skill to play you can try wes or maxwell but please dont try to change wurt into what you want. She is supposed to be like that even before the skill tree, she has a strong late game but you need to focus on her buildings. And my final advise if you are burned out of playing wurt you should try another characters that doesnt play the same, all the characters that play the same as wurt are: Winona and Webber, while is true they are not exactly the same they are pretty much alike so now you can try all the other characters that doesnt focus on building and doesnt have a strong late game or minions but they could be strong early game or during all the run.

I've talked about it before but playing with a mod that hard capped the number of merms I can recruit made Wurt infinitely more fun to me. Let me focus on improving my merm quality instead of merm quantity, felt like I was a merm commander of sorts. Wurt and Woodie are my least favorite characters in DST because they start the game at max potential, so I wish both of these could have a little bit more of a natural strength progression at some point.

This has to be the weirdest opinion about wurt that i have ever seen, so you are saying that woodie a heavy early game character and wurt a heavy late game character are alike? lmao, didnt know you could have all Wurt power on day 1. Maybe im playing her wrong

wait, so you found a mod that limited the number of merms?

But jokes aside if you want to play wurt using few merms instead of  big amount you can do it in the vanilla game you dont need a mod to cap yourself my friend, i usually use a few merms, and its not cause a mod, it is because i dont want to spend that much resources on mass producing merms so i just made a small workers village and a small guards citadel and i usually fine with that cause i like to combat and help my merms, maybe you should check the way you are playing her my friend instead of wanting to nerf her.

It's fine, I don't want her to get nerfed or anything. I just wanted to hear your opinions :D
