As for character teleportation, we already have Wortox, Winona, Wanda, and Woody's Goose. Having a fifth one is no big deal. Who knows if there are any other characters that will add this ability?😋

I mean, there's honestly some charm in a large number of characters having unique forms of teleportation. I wouldn't be against every character having some unique way to get late game map teleportation. But honestly, we just need a buff for the telelocator focus.

The recent year of event update does make getting purple gems quite a bit easier as you can make bishops on a full moon, although i have yet to see anyone do it for the telelocator

If we do have a fifth one, Maxwell is the last one who needs it, you know, being arguably the strongest character in the game.

Also we don’t need any more anyway, why don’t they just buff stuff like the tele locator.

Agreed. If the focus with three purple gems stay charged with the gems forever after socketed and the cost is only on staves  durability it would fix the problem already. It's just too costfull the way it is right now. And all those purples in start game requires  quite some skill to pull off. The staves are expensive enough, a gem and living log per 5 uses if you cheap the cost down throught green magic ain't cheap.

 

If Wicker or Maxwell can enchant that structure somehow to make it more viable in their skill trees would be hella nice. But I would like to see it being for every char so people can stop this jealousy comparison "oh char x has it and y doesn't", at this point is very bothersome.

I am pretty sure Uncompromising Mode does this and it's a Godsend of a change. A single teleportation costing 3 purple gems is insane, a daylight robbery.

I think it's too obtuse of a mechanic ngl. I really like how most systems in dst don't require you to jump through hoops learning about various game mechanics and clockwork farming is definitely not obvious.

I'm not saying it's hard, just that it's weird.

Kinda. I mean its basically 2 stone per clockwork and a way to kill them since you get the marble back.
