ToxicStunky Posted February 16 Share Posted February 16 I dunno if Klei is planning on making new crops, but I thought with Warly probably getting a rework in the near future that it could be a good time to introduce a new one. One idea I think could be neat is a star fruit crop which either can only be farmed in the lunar island or can only sproud from a common seed there. We already have a tree system per biome, but currently only for two biomes (swamp, quarry), but it would certainly be cool to have it for more biomes. I know about those, but the idea was more of a crop rather than a tree. So dragon fruit is like the only fruit people bother farming in their farm plots. Durian, Pomegranate and Watermelon have mostly better veggie counterparts that are used in a lot of recipes. For example pomegranate is not used in any crockpot recipes, has healing similar to other crops and is only really used for decor/crop combos. This same thinking applies less so to other crops including durian, garlic and pepper (both used in spice but not really recipes) and eggplant.
