Once the luck value is sufficiently high, it can ensure that Wormwood's brightshade tentacle will definitely trigger. Similar cases include the Shadow Tentacle of the Thulecite Club, Walter's Cursed Rounds, and Dread Pebbles.

Wendy's Cursed Vexation allows each attack to deal an additional 10 Planar Damage. When paired with the Thulecite Club, the damage output can exceed 600 per second, making Wendy extremely powerful.

The significant increase in luck value enhancing output has undoubtedly disrupted the game's balance.

It's important to note that the horseshoes are getting a greatly benefited effect from the event being up. Once the event is over, they'll be 3 times weaker in terms of the amount of luck they output.

In order to consistently proc the shadow tentacles from Wormwood's skill/the thulecite club, you'll need at least 4 luck. You can currently do that with ~27 horseshoes in the inventory (which requires around 7 knight squad kills). Once the event ends, you'll need 80 for this, which you'll get from around 20 knight squads that you can no longer get as the event is over. You can alternatively wear the full knight set to drop this amount to 10 with the event on or ~38 without, but you'll also be sacrificing both your body and head slot at that point.

It's important to note this person is also using endgame items in the form of the empowered crown/bone armor and is also playing really well to the point they can consistently cancel toad attacks with the morning star while reliably animation canceling at the same time.

The Year of the Horse event can be started manually; it's not difficult at all.
