Added several new items that require Salt Crystals to be crafted at the Combriner. Added a new upgrade tier for Pearl's Place after meeting certain conditions, with customizable slots for Wind Charm decorations. Added Fishy Jerky and Small Fishy Jerky. Petals and other similar leaf type materials can be dried on any Drying Rack. Pearl's Drying rack converted to work through the container UI. You can now soak in the Hot Springs found on the Lunar island. Adjusted gestalt possession chance when a bird dies during the Lunar Rift cycle. Food drinks have a unique animation and sound when consuming. Barnacles now use the quick eating animation. Tumbleweed and Buzzard spawners save their max number of spawns instead of randomizing every game session. Adjusted Ice Cube crafting recipe cost. Adjusted Ice replenishing amount for repairing items. Tillweed Salve no longer perishes. Added World Generation and World Setting regrowth options for Boulderboughs. Evergreen Regrowth, Twiggy Tree Regrowth and Reeds Regrowth settings are available in Caves World Settings. Dried Forget-Me-Lots can be used in place of regular Forget-Me-Lots for Beefalo Treats. Reduce the amount of healing from Dried Tillweed. Fixes Fixed Beeswax still melting after the fire source that was melting it goes away. Fixed Bird shadows appearing even when inside a container or inventory on load. Fixed being unable to heal Brightshades with healing items. Fixed spiders not remembering their leader after mutating from a corpse. Fixed many crafting recipes missing a hint string. Fixed Jubilantern Posts and Mini Signs being destroyed and/or uprooted by Winona's catapults. Fixed Pearl's font color not being networked to the client. Fixed all Drying Racks not counting towards the Hermit Crab's drying task. Fixed the Hermit Crab forgetting how many dried items were eaten when reloading a world. Fixed regrowth of BoulderBoughs in retrofitted worlds. Fixed rare case of worlds being unable to save due to Bearger spawn timer being 0. Fixed bug with Pearl's Umbrella behaviour not accounting for head slot, such as Eyebrella. Fixed bug causing Pearl to sometimes change facing while fishing. Fixed bug causing Pearl to try investigating Lureplants that are not within her range. Fixed bug where Tea was removed when fed to players, even if it was not emptied. Fixed bug where Wolfgang did not gain mightiness when clearing Lunar Hail buildup. Fixed bugs with Knabsack damage not updating correctly when number of Souls changes in Soul Jars. Fixed possible corrupt save data sometimes when Wendy is interacting with Pipspook. Fixed a behavioral issue where Pearl would try to feed a flying critter that may have been over an obstacle such as her house. Fixed a crash with Webber's Bedazzle and Webby Whistle effects when a Spider corpse is in the area. Fixed an issue where Pearl's decoration scoring would not activate when relocating her before her house was upgraded to Tier 3 or 4. Fixed corpses not dropping Winter Feast's Loots. Fixed a crash when a Shattered Spider spawns out of a Sea Strider Nest. Fixed the main menu having broken textures. Fixed a crash related to Crystal-Crested Buzzard eating. Fixed a bug causing chains to go invisible or show the wrong skin when changing the skin of Pearl's Light Post. Fixed animation bug and unlink connected Light Post chains when Pearl's Tea Shop is burnt. Fixed heavy lifting objects incorrectly counted as "junk" for Pearl's decoration scoring. Fixed a bug causing Willow to drop wet equipped weapons or tools while casting Lunar Flame. Fixed bug where Fishy Jerky turned into generic Rot instead of Spoiled Fish. Fixed incorrect strings used for Shell Bell Bundle. Does this have anything to do with any of the crashing and day restarting we've noticed? At least on land. CrimsonStrider Posted January 23 Share Posted January 23 The bug is not fixed. The bug primarily affects hosts. I can get the game to consistently crash while on the ocean. Having someone join and repeat the same actions with the same characters/skills/skins does not cause them to crash. The bug seems to he heavily influenced by certain characters. I crashed for two hours straight, each time within 3 minutes of being on the Ocean, as Wortox. I switched to Wanda and was able to be on the ocean for a full day with no issue. My friend joined as Wortox and was fine. I switched back to Wortox and jumped on a boat and crashed within 10 seconds. Of the characters I've played since this began happening (Wortox, Winona, Wendy, Maxwell, Walter, Wolfgang, Wicker, Wanda) Wortox crashes the most, especially on ocean. Others crash sporadically off the ocean, consistently on the ocean but at inconsistent intervals. Less than Wortox. When my friend hosts, I no longer crash, but he has started to consistently crash on the mainland. Rifts make the problem worse, however, I have had plenty of ocean crashes in the process of finding pearl, moonquay, and fighting crab king. It's not safe to say Rifts cause it, but I can't remember if every instance of ocean travel was done before or after cave Rifts. Regardless, doing CC itself causes a lot of crashing and crashing ramps up a lot sometime during the moon storms and post Rifts. There's also three minor bugs with the menu. One is while browsing other worlds. When checking players and world settings, it gets stuck and you have to awkwardly move down to the question mark to move back left and look at a different world. Two: When searching world progression, worlds don't always or never show whether the ancient key/archives/cave rifts have been found/activated. Three: When selecting search settings, if something has 3 options (Password: Any/No/Yes) often the middle option is really hard to pick. Controller snapback either causes it to skip back to the original option (I.e. I'm on "Any" and want to select "No", but it snaps back to "Any" when I release the stick) or it skips the middle one and goes to the last option (I try to pick No and it skips to yes). I imagine that the community of players on Switch is so weak that it only causes a 'bug alert' after 4 months and 30 forum comments. That said, I am happy to see an 'official' finally respond about these crashes. And that I specifically crash more as Wortox. My friend has began crashing just as much when he hosts (also post rift). A new world I have is almost 150days and no rift stuff so far and no crashing so far. Also B button being everything sucks. Including when using the B button to till soil and then digging instead with the brightshade shovel Nono crash togetheee480p.mp4 edit: Was this posted then removed or did I just not finish uploading it before I locked my phone? Either way here is the video, sorry for the delay. The new world is 260 or 270 and we are not crashing. Haven't done AFW/Crab and archives aren't energized. Still stable, no crashing. CrimsonStrider Posted February 1 Share Posted February 1 (edited) So far we're past day 430. We decided to do AFW around 377 to see if that does anything. I made a cloud back up right before AFW. So far I haven't crashed once. I've only done one, two day ocean trip, after FW (prior to FW I was at sea for an entire season) but later I'll spend another season or so looking for bottles and treasure and seeing if anything happens. I'm still purposely not activating archives or doing CK, so I guess that's next after spending time at sea. Have had Pearls pearl for a long time now. Because I play exclusively alone and I have multiple worlds with shadow/lunar rifts simultaneously active, access ocean content etc, but seldom ever crash.
