firstly summoning the lord of the fruit flies required at lease 30 day of cool down and large amount of farming to attract it, you usually get it in spring, which is already not consider as early game any more

And produces mostly forget-me-lots anyway.

You could have a bunch of monkey tails by that point instead, to supplement the reeds you get on day 1.

Dried Tillweed can be obtained early game with a simple drying rack and quickly reaches 999+. Early game players tend to make pierogi (40 hp) or craft papyrus and farm honey for Honey Poultice (30 hp)? I usually only see Wormwood players wanting this item in large quantities. How long does it take a player to obtain 999+ Honey Poultice compared to Dried Tillweed?

While I agree with most of what you say, honey poultices and even spider poultices are very useful imo simply for the fact they don't spoil. You carry a stack of pierogi in the ruins, you're on a timer. You carry and occasionally replenish your poultices and can use them on demand. Given the choice and means to do so, I personally prefer poultices until I get bundling wrap (I don't rush bee queen so spoilage is still a problem for me.)

it isnt a solution for everyone but if you self-host you can turn on winter's feast to get the gift wrap recipe then turn it back off again once you make it for the first time
