New live stream drop item Celesturn is wrongly translated in Chinese.

We are writing to express our concern regarding a recent translation error for the new live stream drop item "Celesturn," which has been mistranslated as "Celest + urn" (天体 + 骨灰罐). As this is a food-related Crock Pot item, the translation of "urn" as "骨灰罐" (literally "ash urn") is highly inappropriate and creates an unsettling association with the nether realm.

This issue is particularly sensitive because it involves a food item, and the current translation may lead to misunderstandings and discomfort among players. While there have been similar translation errors in the past (e.g., "Cookie Cutter" to “饼干切割机”), the current case carries additional weight due to the cultural connotations of "骨灰罐" (ash urn) in Chinese, which evokes strong negative emotions.

Hi, thank you for your suggestion. We have changed the translation to "天体瓮烹饪锅". The new name no longer has any association with "ash".

Is there even a food-specific meaning for the word "urn" in English? I'm not a native English speaker but to me the name of this item in English sounds as if developers intended it to mean "celestial ash urn" for some reason, and I also found it very questionable as I read the name. It doesn't seem fitting for a food related item in English either, not just in Chinese. The only time I ever saw the word "urn" used in English was in a context of storing ashes. In DST "urn" is also used as a part of the name Sisturn (Wendy's structure) which has an ash urn likely filled with Abigail's remains.

"urn" also refers to large vessels with lids meant for heating water, and for making tea or coffee

urns hold fluids(usually coffee, tea or wine) so in regards to drinking it is valid. this is a coffee urn;

Yeah weird. In Russian we only use the word "urn" for either: ash container (either modern or historical/ritual), ballot box (during elections usually), and a specific kind of an outdoors waste bin. None of them are appetizing or food related either. Never knew it was a word for a food/liquid container in English - usually people more commonly use words such as "jar"/"bin"/"tin"/"bottle"/"pitcher"/"mug"/"kettle" etc.

that is fair too! urn, kettle, pot and samovar are the ones we use where i live so i didnt question it but i can understand why it wouldnt be common in other languages. it is an old word and not really fashionable. for sure i would find it gross if they used "bin" since that is where you stick rubbish x''D
