New Beta is amazing, but the lamp posts do not make sense being restricted to the area around Pearl's house. 

Functionally, it is not the only one. Jubilantern Post is already here. So why not let this beautiful structure decorate the dark cave? Base sitters are desperately need it.

Actually, I didn't consider whether they were rare or not; I just simply liked their new designs. For example, if the Jubilantern Post came out with a better skin, I would give up on them. 

And in fact, Klei also doesn't think it's about rarity. He's already destroyed the one and only Hermit Island so easily.

You can impose restrictions, such as halving the light effect of the lamp posts after leaving the hermit's house area, or increase its construction cost.

It doesn't matter what, as long as you allow us(Base sitters) to use it to decorate the cave filled with darkness and despair. @V2C

Makes me wish for Hamlet's lamppost being vanilla here.
Mushroom Light are nice but.. Year of the worm brought much cheaper alternative, better looking for large bases too.

In fact, although I've mentioned Jubilantern Post many times, I've never used one because its symbolism of the Spring Festival is too eye-catching. But the Spring Festival only lasts a few days a year, and now, hermit's lamp posts have shown me ambient lighting that perfectly harmonizes with nature and everyday life.

This is why I so earnestly request that Klei change the restrictions.
