The idea is interesting, but the practical application isn't good. A sip of the drink provides only a few seconds of warming, while a thermal stone guarantees almost eight minutes at no extra cost, besides keeping another stone heated for quick replacement.

My suggestion is that the duration of the temperature-related effects of these drinks be increased to the equivalent of a total of 2 in-game days (16 minutes).

The truth is that the thermal stone is the only item necessary for both winter and summer, and there's no late-game solution that contradicts this.

That would be busted.

With 10 uses that is two and a half hours.

Warly will have a skill tree that can fix this. How long does Wurt stay warm when using fish in her inventory? 4 days (32 minutes)?

Considering how rare fire nettles are and how many dried nettles are needed to make a single tea, I too would not mind the reward being much better. The current irony is that eating the nettles raw will almost provide an equal heat effect!

you get 10 sips per tea

At max decor level you can make a fire nettle tea with 3 dried nettle fronds. I used up a succulent tea in 1.25 days of Summer and I assume the same would be the case for nettle tea in Winter. A single raw fire nettle provides 1 minute of heat, plus the cooldown would probably end up around 1.5 minutes total before freezing again. So that's like 5.3 raw nettles per day versus 3. So yes, a slight improvement with the tea but almost negligible considering the time spent drying nettles and making tea.

does the tea at least last longer than raw nettles?

there are some benefit even in that case, including tea dont rot and you can split the heat timing only if you really need it

Did Klei implement a way to farm Succulents/Nettles? if not, it is a very underwhelming effect for such a high effort. The only viable way to farm fire nettles is through the Lord of the Fruit Fly exploit (from Lakhnish's video). Still, it is a pain in the axx to spawn nettles, because forget me lots have a much higher spawn rate.

Yeah I used LoFF to fill a couple farm tiles with fire nettles and it took forever. At least they never bolt like forget-me-lots so you can harvest and dry whenever. Even still, considering the startup cost I don’t think they’re currently worth, especially as an endgame food.

Also, 1 succulent tea every 1.25 days of Summer means 108 succulents for the entire season. Pretty sure you don’t get that many per year without Wicker.

You could use purple staff, but like ... That's waaay too many living logs, nm fuel, and purple gems for a 15 day supply of tea
