Soooo.. Did Klei abandon Rotwood? Or are they cooking up a crazy update as we speak.

The main part of me hopes its the second option however I'm still worried about this game. The reason is because I love it and have put over 200 hours into it in its current state, and I really don't want the game to forgotten or left behind by the devs, cause I feel it has so much potential and is very underrated! Any thoughts?

Nope - the team is working on the next big update, the same as always. 

We're just working in larger chunks so that the content and additions to the game are fully fleshed out and meaningful as we work toward the full launch of the game.

I always assume they update the game every 3~ months with a new content, then we have a small wave of patches and after that radio silence until next big patch. Well I wish we could have a sneak peak every once in a while but this is how Klei operates.

Okay awesome. This makes me feel way better. Now I can rest easy knowing that an update is in the works and will just take some time

Why is there no Christmas update this year? My base was covered with snow last year.

I don't know where exactly to write this. And I don't want to create a separate post about this. So I decided to write it under this post.

So, after 6 days of silence, on SteamDB suddenly appeared 5 numbers changes. 

Which is quite a lot, as there were usually 2 or 4 number changes in a single day. And suddenly, five. 
So maybe this means we'll finally get a new beta today. Or maybe it doesn't mean anything.

Today marks exactly half a year since the last update :/
And it's been 5.5 months since the last patch : (

I wonder how many months will pass before the next update's beta is released.
I wonder if the next update will add the final hunt and the missing Super Frenzies.
I wonder how many things will be left to finish after the next update before releasing full version.

So Indie World mentioned Rotwood release for Switch 2 later today. I assume it will be out of EA on steam too then, or not?
