the ARG loading screen is a bit excessive

i understand wanting there to be a visual cue for when something is changing, but i really wish it didnt darken the screen and process every individual click no matter what. it makes it difficult for me to fiddle around with things because the screen flickering like that is giving me a headache, which is getting really, really unbearable with the newest puzzle. i want to figure it out by myself but that feels almost impossible when messing with it for such a short amount of time made a migraine start coming on :'D 

i know previous puzzles didn't have this issue at all, so i don't know why this exists now

not sure if it helps but i have light sensitivity and i keep my screen at about 40% brightness. it makes the puzzles entirely doable for me(among other things). could adjusting your brightness help with the headaches?

i will attempt this next time to see how that helps

would be nice if it only applied to things you can actually interact with as a way of letting you know that youre actually making progress rather than blindly clicking on every nano pixel of every panel

Even with a guide, messing up repeatedly makes you exposed to the flicker for longer amounts of time and it gives me a nasty headache. Augh

yeah, the way it is now is also just not very helpful

i'm afraid darkening my screen didnt do much at all, i was messing with it for only a few minutes and i could feel something coming on. i really hope they fix it before the next update because i'm going to be a bit devastated to miss out on that huge of a reward because of a loading screen graphic

Use your blue-light settings on your monitor.

i have been told this will be fixed in the next arg update. regardless, one of my friends is looking into a temp solution for me, i will update if this works

can confirm that this works, here's the video they made:

this will outright remove the loading graphic, although if you refresh the page it will undo your changes so you'll have to repeat them. this has been working pretty effectively for me to progress past the super intricate part in the newest update, i hope it helps somebody else too
