Am I missing something about the Mega Blight? It flips on it's back and when I try to attack, it's like my character is swinging at air, nothing is happening. You're supposed to attack it when it's on it's back right? I'm confused. I am using planar weapons, I even tried the brightshade hammer.

Ah, I just killed it. It really didn't seem like I was doing anything, there was no reaction from Ripple and no weapon hitting target sound, and then it was gone. Sorry guys, this is why I am usually super hesitant to start topics on any forum heh.

Yeah I think they need to add something because there is just no feedback whatsoever. I had no idea I was doing damage until it just popped and died. Especially because there is a noise when you strike it upright, but upside down it sounds like the weapon is missing.

It's a puzzle mini-boss, it is meant to be something to rack your brain around.

There's a difference between solving a puzzle, and not being told what you're doing is correct.

I've also noticed that when flipped Ripple doesn't give you any feedback that you're actually doing damage. So even if you do solve the puzzle of flipping him, you're not told that's the correct solution with the usual damage noises or creature wiggling bit from damage recoil.

(Given that it's silent, it's probably bugged come to think of it)

I didn't notice this at first, because I fought it with the brightshade staff. But switching to a sword, yeah, it's really weird that there's no hit noise or confirmation of any kind.

It makes it seem like it's still doing no damage.

I took a quick peak at the code and wasn't able to determine why the sound doesn't play. It isn't swapped out in the struggle state, or anything deliberate like that.

Maybe something to do with how damage is redirected from the segments once it's no longer invincible? I'd report it as a bug.

It seems very bugged to me. I tried usingĀ  Brightshade sword and the same thing happened (no sound). Then I switched to brightshade staff like some people said in the forum and I insta killed him. it dropped 36 dreadstones LOL
