Beefalo Quality of Life

I've played extensively and tamed several beefalos in different worlds and in public.

But one thing that doesn't make sense and is unpleasant is someone hitting my beefalo and it losing its tame status.

It doesn't make sense for it to lose its tame status if it wasn't the owner who attacked it.
The beefalo or a dog would know how to tell the difference between the owner and the non-owner.

My friend accidentally attacked my beefalo while fighting a boss, and it lost its tame status, which is pretty annoying.

Not to mention the trolls that exist in the game.
