Pearl Weird (Bug)

Pearl is acting weird. I gave her the Umbrella and she eat it. Then I gave her the Breezy Vest and she eat it too, and she's having the eating animations forever. And she's not dropping any Seashell Bell Packets after a quest. She makes an animation of item, but nothing comes. I'm fear she won't drop the pearl 😰

I tried to create another map, but she still has this eating animation and doesn't drop any items. It's not possible to continue her quests and get the pearl ;-;

funny, sometimes I wonder how do these bugs even emerge, this is so specific.

I expect this to be fixed pretty soon as it's quite game breaking lol

I'm having the exact same issue. Also playing wortox. She doesn't drop the pearl after completing her tasks so I made a new world and she's stuck in the eating animation as soon as I get to the island. Klei please fix 😢

Also don't delete your world like I did. If they fix it and you have good world gen it would be a shame to lose it. Learn from my mistake

I'm in totally same situation.

I think the progression on all consoles is broken. I made it to pearls as a new wolfgang and she was still in the eating animation and then I tried it on a friend's console with the same result.

yep it seems like a wide spread problem making it impossible to progress, literally a game breaking bug. Even in worlds where the pearl is already obtained the eating animation still goes on forever. 

I suppose the devs are well aware of it by now as the bug tracker is filled with reports on it, I just hope it gets addressed soon, or at least acknowledged.

Same for the public server situation tho that's not that big of an issue for most people I guess.

Having this exact issue, I even tried the gate glitch to push her onto a boat and destroy it to see if that would fix it but nope, I completed all her quests and she gave the dialogue for giving the Pearl but didn't actually give the Pearl, I'm hoping my world isn't messed up forever now because I'm just getting ready to fight crab king and don't feel like restarting from scratch

You dont know how to fix this game, most of the times pearl doesent give you pearl and always ot spawns after days of waiting by itself which is baf for speedruns which are tge only fun thing in yoir game
