Wagstaff's glasses could become craftable on notional fabricator after scion's death. They could give you horizon expandinator effect, allow to see in storms and, most importantly, let you see holograms.

There could be another separate item on the fabricator that would let you turn structures into holograms. This would make them lose collision and become invisible while still performing their functions, requiring wagstaff's glasses to see. This could help with megabasing a lot by allowing players to hide structures that don't fit into the build but are nearly necessary to have, such as lightning rods, flingos, crystaleyezers and furnaces.

Perhaps something similar could also be applied to turf, allowing the player to put 2 layers of turf, a visible one that doesn't do anything and an invisible, hologram one that provides some effect e.g. cobblestone or scaled turf, although this would most likely be quite a bit harder to implement compared to hologram structures.

The glasses could also perhaps have 2 modes, first mode showing the holograms as described, and second mode giving you night vision, to make them more useful for non-aesthetic purposes.

They could have durability that would drain more rapidly in night vision mode. They could be repaired with warbis kit or moon glass, or perhaps sewn, or perhaps sewn, since we can sew thermal stones and most goggles already.

They should blur your screen since they are not your prescription glasses.

If you wear them too long, your vision will become more and more blurry when not wearing the glasses.
