So I've been trying to do a prehistoric pack colony and I'm frankly tired of putting 3+ hours into it only to discover that my colony got hot polluted oxygen, leaky oil fissure, infected polluted oxygen and hot carbon dioxide geysers. Instead of, y'know, something like a slush geyser or metal volcanoes.

How can I check, cycle one, what are all the vents and geysers on my planetoid? Looking at the starmap doesn't reveal all of them. Is there a way that won't break the game and reveal all of the map or make printing pod start offering steel and shovoles?

  1. Save the game.
  2. Open Debug Mode
  3. Reveal entire map and look around.
  4. DON'T OVERWRITE OLD SAVEs. Just load the previous save in step 1.

Personally I don't do this because I will know everything everywhere instantly. But this is the fastest way to know what you have in your map now.

make step 4 more clear

you can use this to curate your map selection if you want a specific set of geysers, its updated to PPP nicely.

That being said, pretty sure Relica has a guaranteed polluted water geyser if nothing else on it. you should keep searching.

If You play with Spaced Out, then you can just go into Starmap, and look at asteroid description on Starmap. It has list of geysers.

Some geysers will not be shown, instead showing for example "Undiscovered geysers (4)"

It does? It must be a new thing.

Anyhow, if guaranteed geysers are what you look for, as others suggested, maps not included should do the trick.

IIRC it is on Ceres (some geysers are random there),  maybe on PPP Asteroid too. But all other asteroids have geysers shown normaly.
