Maxil20
The recent patch made it so hail sticks around a lot longer, which makes it a lot more practical to farm. Theoretically, you can combo this with the new bright beaked bird spawn mechanics to profit off some pure brilliance at a rate of 3 charged shards per brillance, which is neat! However, what I did notice is you get much, much more normal shards when harvesting than charged ones, at a 3-1 ratio from my experience (after I got 20 charged shards and 60 normal ones from my last hail). I feel this should probably be inverted so you get a 1-3 ratio of normal shards-charged shards. You could allow them to discharge and still get the normal shards if you wanted, while allowing players who go out of their way to collect charged shards during the hailstorm to be rewarded with a respectable amount in exchange for building a bird setup/existing as Wilson. I think it would be a neat alternative compared to methods like Wicker end is nigh farming during the moonstorm or going to the rift to get brilliance! 10 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167341-the-amount-of-charged-shardsnormal-shards-you-get-during-lunar-hail-should-be-swapped-around/ Share on other sites
Dingle
Anything to make a wicker swap slightly less necessary would be great. Even with all the changes, even in solo worlds, it's just a no brainer to swap to Wicker real quick for vastly more infused shards than you can normally get. 1 Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/167341-the-amount-of-charged-shardsnormal-shards-you-get-during-lunar-hail-should-be-swapped-around/#findComment-1829827 Share on other sites
