I thought picking roses said pickaxing rocks, which would be pretty fitting. With a body so old and frail doing even the most mundane of chores instantly kills him.

I think it would be cool if Maxwell had unique interactions with the creatures of the constant as it’s former king

For example, what if when he raises small birds when they grew up and into tall birds, they stay loyal or he has an item similar to the Lucky whistle or has some other way of taming hounds or maybe not even taming hounds maybe they just don’t Agro on him also I think it’d be cool if he was able to pull royal rabbit enforcers out of his hat that are loyal to him maybe you need the rabbit, King Cujo to do it or what if he could befriend shadows if he has the bone home on or what if he could make new creatures as well as a makeover to his spells alongside their upgrade with pure horror

Also, I think it makes sense for him to have two shadow alignments separate of the pure horror thing

I don't think those kinds of skills fit his playstyle. It's gonna be like Wurt's skills that let you weaponize mosquitoes. While it sounds in-character, gameplaywise, it's too gimmicky to be practical. I think his skills should be related to magician or puppet master since his reworks also focus on these two aspects. And if he were to have these kinds of skills, I think it should only be 2-3 skills max. The promising candidates are clockworks and hounds. From his quotes, he seems to be very proud of the clockworks in terms of his creation, but I don't know if that'll take away from Wx-78.

It would be really cool if Maxwell had a magic cape that would allow him to move certain structures around the world. Like Florid Postern, I don't like it when he appears near meteors, in a small swamp area with those mosquitoes that can't be removed, bosses, or in a small area with water everywhere that's not even worth decorating. That would make it possible to switch to the base. It would be a dream.
