Duelists now deal planar damage. (Not sure if planar defense is necessary since their ability to mitigate most of damage already makes them really good at surviving.
Puppets now have bigger radius. (Probably will benefit workers the most.)
Maybe some synergies for the cage and trap spells? Like, make his spells debuff enemies. Something like cause them to take more damage from Maxwell and his minions.

The usual shadow affinity perk like, Maxwell takes 10% less damage from shadow-aligned mobs and deals 10% extra damage to lunar-aligned ones. Not sure if his minions should have this as well. But his second shadow affinity perk should be powerful since he only has one option.

Everything but please DO NOT add planar damage to his shadows. They are already broken, it will become a wurt 2.0. Wurt already demolished planar enemies but with her skill tree it just became a BORING overkill, and this will probably happen with Maxwell too…

I understand your point, but it's just a theme with all the skill trees we have so far. Abigal, Birnie, merms, and other characters have them, so I think we we'll get one for Maxwell, too. Maybe similar to Wurt, where he needs to use pure horror to temporarily buff them.

yes yes, he’ll eventually get some. I am just saying that these buffs will be overkill and will not add anything cool… they will make the game more boring.

Just saw the dream today.

I agree. Maxwel should be nerfed and so should Wurt.

Suggestion, can only eat nightmare fuel dropped by shadow beefalo, which will be called "nightmare meat"

I always suggest adding a separate summon for his planar damage. maybe a single shadow creature that is tanky and deals planar damage, but cannot be summoned together with duelists

because they are very easy to play.

That's exactly the point. Compared to COD, there they nerf something that's OP and everyone's using it to create a rotation. So they should nerf Wendy and Wigfrid, so people can use other characters. But here, what we see are requests to nerf characters that few people use.

You’ve definitely never played as Wendy.

I played Wendy before she had a skill tree, and she was already ridiculously easy to survive. I can't imagine how strong she is now.

The only time things are easy for Wendy is when she’s fighting enemies Abigail can completely overwhelm, like spiders or the Antlion which can’t hurt Abigail at all. Against any enemy that can actually kill Abigail, playing Wendy is about as hard as controlling two characters at once.

The playstyle that makes Wendy "ridiculously easy" is turtling at base, never fighting bosses, and just farming spiders and hounds.

Bee Queen is a boss I find quite challenging, but with Wendy, it's extremely easy. The "problem" with Wendy mains is being lazy, as they want Abigail to do everything for them. I say "lazy" because I was the same way when I played Wigfrid

Any nerf talk that doesn't take into account Wendy and Wigfrid's dominance should be handled very carefully by the developers.

Nerfing a character few people use? What's the logic behind that?

It's hard to understand DST's logic. If there are other more broken characters, why do most people play Wendy and Wigfrid?

Broken doesnt mean fun.

Also they are more relaxed characters since you start the game at an immediate stronger state than most.

Then you make them more fun in their skilltree.

Alas, the good old Elite Forum Boy's hate and personal attack at Wendy Player. When will we ever move on? Your laziness that you felt is no excuse for insulting other players.

What exactly is the definition of “extremely easy” or “ridiculously easy”? I ran my own test, and even fighting Bee Queen as Wendy still feels Dragonfly‑level hard. Bee Queen’s attack is nearly impossible to kite,   and deal 120 damage to Abigail, so if Wendy doesn’t tank, Abigail dies almost instantly. Therefore you need to manage the Health of two characters at the same time.

"Blessed Sisturn III" can cut that hit to 60, but combined with the Grumble Bees’ attacks, it’s still more than enough to kill Abigail, Unsummoning her to heal doesn’t help much either, because the Grumble Bees will stun‑lock Wendy, making it difficult to resummon. The Scare command works, but Bee Queen spawns Grumble Bees so frequently that some slip through the Scare window.

Wigfrid and Walter is still easier. Walter in particular can just move and hold down F if he has a Thulecite Slingshot Frame and plenty of Slow‑Down Rounds.
