Nedix Posted July 8, 2025 Share Posted July 8, 2025 Hi, More often than not I find myself in the need of controlling either the Radbolt Generator and/or Radbolt Reflector. What I mean is that, on my humble opinion, these devices need at least an on/off automation like the Mechanized Airlock. The best would be the possibility of changing the direction based on an input (and ON/Off). I fully understand that the latter could be a programming nightmare since you need to multiplex 8 + 1 states (8 directions and on/off) but this could probably be done by using 4 ports: 3 ports for multiplexing 2 states each = 8 directions + 1 on/off port. This would mean a larger device, bigger than the current 2 x 1, so something like a 4 x 1 or 3 x 2 or 4 x 2. An example of their applicability would be switching between Radbolt engines when one is full. Or switching between Diamond presses. This would allow the dupes to safely work or go in/out of the rockets without being hit by the Radbolts blast. Would anyone use such a thing or not? My setup I mentioned earlier: Spoiler Worked most of the time. Counters are set to the number of platform above them (From left: 2, 3 , 4 and so on). Right from this setup was also Interplanetary Launcher.
