The Personal Floater should prevent you from dropping items when drowning

I don't understand the point of this item existing when the damage from drowning is already nerfed across the board. It is a waste of an inventory slot. If it prevented my items from dropping after drowning, I would actually use this! It would be a nice backup if you fail fighting Crab King for example.
By the way, there is a chance that this item is chosen to be dropped while drowning if it is in your main inventory. That should at least change.

It being able to be dropped too when in your inventory seems like a bug, but otherwise I'm okay with loot being dropped. Maybe make it so you drop less stuff if you are in deeper water and not dropping any at all when close to shore.

Now that they nerfed drowning, this thing doesn’t really seem to have any purpose to exist..? I'm so confused.
