At the moment we really only have the "Wet" status effect which causes a few very niche weapons to do more damage, Walter's Slowing effect from his rounds and maybe the gesalt's drowsy one but that's player based. As well as Frozen, On-Fire and Sleep, also "Panicked" from Maxwell.

It would be nice to have more mob based status effects. For example; an "Enraged" pig man that when closer to death hits harder and more quickly like the pig guards do.

An "Incapacitated" Catcoon that when it has too many items in their inventory it's slower and can't pounce.

"Corrupted" status for mobs that are outside during night causes them to deal more damage to players or have increased health.

Maybe like a "Dire" or "Alpha" version of mobs that are stronger than their counterparts but are random in spawning like a purple merm that's stronger but rarely is seen. 

It would also be nice to see more set bonuses from armor. At the moment most players only wear a helm and bag. A Log bonus for Woody wearing a wood helm and a logsuit could be one. Nightmare armor and dark sword could be another. Thule armor and crown is one as well. These changes could give more variety to the mobs in the world and more variety in combat that has mostly gone unchanged.

Werepigs are Monster meat and full moon locked. This would be if they're outside during night period.

Vargs and Varglings are timed locked for hound waves (former being available from hunts). My suggestion was that it'd be Alphas amongst hounds naturally from their hound mounds.
