Please Klei, hot fix the chat message exploit that crashes servers

This is unacceptable and quite a dangerous situation as well. 

This issue can happen on literally any server. Are you suggesting that they take the entire game offline because there's an exploit where people can temporarily crash servers? You would prefer not being able to play at all over maybe sometimes the server you're playing on crashes?

I said their own servers, not the entire game. But since the exploit is so bad, yes, maybe they should take their own game offline until they can solve the problem. And if they cannot solve it then they should come out with a statement. 

This radio silence from the devs is just absolutely terrible.

I agree it would be great to get at least some sort of acknowledgement by Klei that this is an issue. And not only towards official Klei servers, but any public server.
