I'm not one of those who is completely against things destroying the base, I think it can even be interesting sometimes, at least the part about preparing to avoid things like that I think is pretty cool, but these things aren't even dangerous, they're just annoying? Like there's nothing more difficult about dodging the bigger rocks falling into the cave, it just destroys decoration and generates trash, or basically bringing in another guise the rocks falling from the cave in the form of "rain", it just forces you to pay attention all the time, and unlike the caves you'll be in a safer area, there's no point in bringing this tension just for the sake of it, this isn't a stress game either.

I don't really see their point, and I also don't understand who defends with their own lives that this is exactly The Dont Starve Experience, like, even if you want a more ruthless and uncompromising experience, it's kind of not that, if there's one thing that my experience didn't become was more ruthless and uncompromising because someone's decoration was brutally destroyed by a boulder, like my base literally wouldn't be affected by something like that, since I don't have any decoration. What do I gain from someone else's game being ruined on another server. They should ask for more severe and tougher seasons, something that affects how we can feed ourselves, we're not going to have a Fear And Hunger experience with abundant and easy-to-get food and seasons with few challenges just with random base decorations being destroyed lol
