Some people are a little too sensitive and probably shouldn’t be playing DS/DST, it is not a light hearted childrens game (it’s rated T for Teen for a Reason…) there are morally WRONG things that we do in this game that should feel sad.. it SHOULD hit you right in the feels..

Just like when you went and killed Crab King to progress some experiment for Wagstaff, only to be a total jerk and return the cracked Pearl to Pearl knowing what you did..

Its not a kids game, it’s not meant to be a kids game… you kill a Deerclops, you steal it’s Eyeball, later the consequences of that is you fight a re-animated to life Eyeball-Less Variant of a now undead Deerclops.

No, you gave it to him on behalf of Pearl and he attacked you. He's also not dead.

Really? "players are snowflakes" as an unironic talking point?

Sure, and i love games where you do inmoral stuff but only when they get it right, as in a comedy game or a parody on itself. This instance got none of that but thats for that insightful comment about something i already acknowledged :love_heart:

guess what you can do to pig houses, guess what you can do to pigmen in general.

you didnt really give it to him, you just walk up to him and put it inside one of his holes unconsensually

Didn't explain where you got it from and probably cracked the pearl from hitting CK too, so they might have broken up under false pretenses.

Oh poor ole deerclops, it only want to kill the players and destroy their home, or just destroy their home. Why should people defend themselves and fight it?

That she’s sending the bottles at all shows the relationship was dead before we got involved.

Whether she wanted us to make it deader is debatable.

That this update shows she’s able to move, and that crab king doesn’t move, actions speak louder than words as they say.

Does anyone remember we have krampus in this game? So yes, doing bad things to pigmen and rabbits is immoral. Our game has always maintained the correct value orientation, totally.

To prevent some people from arguing that Krampus brings us benefits in the game so it is a kind of reward, I have to say that it's worth considering the cultural background of its original prototype. Moreover, in the game, summoning Krampus requires meeting the "naughtiness" threshold. And I don't understand what kind of reward it counts as from a storytelling perspective when you eliminate the villains come to punish you, or what makes it seem morally noble.

In general, storytelling and game design are two different things, and obviously Pearl's arc failed to satisfy on both fronts. She didn't have any interaction with Moonquay!

Pardon, who is Wagstaff? Did the characters know his intervention at that time? You may argue that we disturbed CK by giving him a lot of gems, but how did we suddenly become that junk collector's helper?

Plus we never killed him. We have A delicate drowning animation, remember?
