One of my Greatest Achivements...Has Just Been Completed.

Recommended Posts

After 7 full days spent in my recent survival world, I finally managed to beat the Celestial Champion as the man, the myth, and the meme: Wes. Ironically, the fight wasn't as grueling as I thought, took a little longer than normal, but it was still pretty intense. I MAYBE could've brought less gear to the fight, but with how punishing the character can be for making a SINGLE mistake, I think the extra prep was warranted. I think the rift bosses are probably going to be a bigger skill-check, though. I'm shivering in fear just thinking about Armor Bearger...But until then, I'm gonna relish in my sweet victory. Godspeed Wes, Godspeed o7

Even so, I was incredibly tense the whole way through. Even with all my night armors, if I was too careless, I could've easily been ripped to shreds, especially with those lasers and ESPECIALLY with the grogginess debuff of the gestalts. Getting put to sleep would've likely been a death sentence... Though, I gotta say, being incredibly weak has really made boss fights WAY more exciting than with most of the cast.

Big gz! That's pretty amazing! Way to go! \(^^)/

Good luck with the Rift Bosses! Hope you can beat them too! ^^)/

x0.75 damage means it takes x1.33333333 longer. You need to divide 1 by 0.75 to get the correct amount of extra time spent.

And well, being slower than everyone else at killing bosses means more chances of being hit and taking damage and needing to heal, and having your armor break, so needing more resources and the like. It's a pretty meaningful downside... Unless you're super good at the game and basically never get hit, of course. But most people playing aren't super good at the game.

Rifts weapons actually make Wes stronger, because Planar Damage isn't affected by his damage modifier. Though everything deals more damage, so it might go both ways with how low Wes' hp is.

Congratulations though! For CC I always recommend Thulecite Crown (life saving in 2nd phase) + Bone Armor (grants free hit and allows to dodge 2nd as well) combo. If you manage to kill AFW before that is.

Thanks for the heads up with the rift gear! Damage seems slightly lower than with the other survivors, but I think he might deal extra damage due to his 25% weapon efficiency? Isn't it something like 50 or 60 more uses? I was thinking about using crowns too, they're cheaper than the suits, I could equip a mag for extra speed, and the force field is a nice bonus, but I find they tend to break faster if you're taking too much damage. I remember bringing 3 crowns to Scrappy Werepig and ended the fight with 1 with almost half durability.

Indeed an achievement! Last time somebody was bragging about his first solo Celestial Champ kill, it was a Screenshot of Wolfgang with Chaud-Froid buff and a couple of Winona catapults, unironically...

Man could've beaten that thing with like half the prep work, lol. Eh, as long as the boss is dead, the method doesn't really matter.

congrats! i have never NOT been bodied in phase two at least once and i've only ever done this with other people(coughwandacough) doing most of the carrying(i am not good enough to solo regardless of prep-time or follower-count) you are an aspiration<3

Killing FW was a lot of work as Wes, granted killing him for the first time ever with any character and I chose Wes was on me lol. Misery Toad was another obnoxious fight, Celestial seemed okay for me, I just brough a mountain and blue and green mushrooms with my gloomerang and I was set :wilson_cool:

NICE work, Wes is my absolute favorite survivor of the constant and anyone who chooses to give him the victories he deserves is royalty.:wilson_flower:

это просто занимает в 0,25 раза больше времени, чем

0.25 IS 2.5 minutes. This is literally any other boss fight in any other normal game.
