Gorge highlights it, farming highlights it, all the crops we grow and seasonal aspects to what we grow also highlights it. Vegan, pescatarian, omnivore diets to be filled out would make a better immersion for the game and give a goal and interest of finding more recipes as well as teaching some more exotic dishes from different cultures will bring excitement to a group. Ever wanted to bake a pizza in DST and place it on a table to share a slice from it with friends? Winter's feast is a cool event where you bake foods you can share with friends, but they bring very little food value and you basically just craft those foods instead of cooking and preparations. I'd prefer to grab a slice of that dish and eat it and share the rest with friends. If anything I'd wanna have options for is drinking forgetmelot tea slower, or other drinks slower to be consume, more to social cosmetic value, y'know.
