It's not about the gambling, in older worlds the generation could break which means the machine could be anywhere around the world

This fits a lot better than most of the recent stuff they've been adding.

You can force spawn new structures on older worlds. Just quit the server and then rollback. Then when you re-enter the world, the new structure will be able to spawn somewhere else. You can easily repeat this method until the structure spawns in a place that suits you.

How? It literally puts a character from a different game into this one. How does that fit better than Wendy being able to relocate the spirits of the dead or Walter being able to not be the worst (non-Wes) character?

Because… there’s a slot machine randomly out in the middle of nowhere in the Shipwrecked DLC, And for people who have never played Baltaro: It’s just a funny clown inside a fortune Tellers Box which fits right alongside the rest of the Midsummers Cawnival structures & that Beefalo Judge Structure.

But there’s also scrapped concept arts of things that were either planned for the game & then removed, or simply hasn’t been added to the game yet.. With things like destroyed/abandoned ruins of a large theater. I wish I knew where I can pull up those images again.. cause yeah funny clown inside a fortune tellers box that lets me play poker is EXACTLY the kind of thing I would expect to find in that biome.

It doesn't always spawns where i want it to be i had the same problem with the junkyard it could only spawn in 3 locations and all of them were bad but atleast junkyard is acceptable because it adds a little bit of the lore to the game than a (un)funny clown in a box

Again it doesn't fit in the game and it should be a craftable structure, klei didn't even explained how it got in the costant while the other two crossovers we had (terraria and cult of the lamb) were explained pretty well but with Jimbo? Nah he's just there

Imagine for a second you see a Wagstaff Hologram as you start to approach the Machine, it’s static at first but then stabilizes and materializes same as how all the rest of the random wacky crap in this game sort of just pops up out of nowhere.

My first ever Wagstaff hologram encounter was an actual jump scare moment for me, I was not expecting him, and I was unaware that NPCs could access the games Chat Menu for messages, I thought my world done got hacked and a malicious hacker was in my server causing havoc.

I think it costing sanity would make a lot of sense, more for bad results.
No offense to jimbo, but it does make getting banana's more of a mental health refund from the gambling rather than infinite free bananas.

 

Just going off our last gambling setpiece where even going near it damaged your mental  health...

would be cool consider it means you need to get high points fast before you drop too much sanity
