Don't Starve Together Update 1.1.189.0 (Xbox - released April 10, 2025)

• Added Balatro content

A short while back, Don't Starve became Friends with Jimbo. Now it’s time for us to ante up — so we've included a couple of small surprises in Don't Starve Together for you to enjoy. 

For the next week, players will be able to claim the Fools Crown skin for the Bee Queen crown for free by logging in. After that time, you will be able to weave the item with spools or find it in a random drop.

And if you play your cards right, you might even find JIMBO waiting for you lurking around somewhere in the Constant. Well, I guess that depends on what you consider luck.  

On the subject of Klei Rewards: if you missed some recent login goodies, The Rift of the NecroDancer Harmonic Riftwear and Mind Over Magic Thorny Twizzle skins are now up for grabs over on Klei Rewards.

And since it's been a little bit, have some Klei Points. On the house.

I wish it wasn't poker though ;; I can't remember how that one works ^^ So no playing for me. But nice for people who like this particular card game.

but other then other cardgames it is not FUN to me (I have my few specific card games I like. Poker I do not associate with that fun)

but then maybe I could attempt to associate it with a dice game of a similar kind of "do those combinations" thing. But hmmm....For now not.

NEVERTHELESS thanks for liking me to the combinations existing ^^ It's nice to have something to look up in case I ever feel like playing

Well.. I wanted to play and enjoy the new update, but it appears that it’s unstable, as playing with the cards Jimbo gives you seems to crash the game. 

It’s cool to have a Minature playable version of Balatro in DST though. My only complaints about that are:

I can’t build the machine anywhere I want to, and only one person at a time can play it….

It should’ve probably just been a Curiosities Mini-Game on the Curio Collecters Tab of Games from the main Menu (if it’s going to remain to only be playable by one person at a time)seriously… when’s the last time we got a new Curio Collector Mini-Game?

That said: I love that it’s playable while all the crazy DST stuff happens around you, and would prefer tweaks/refinements to its implementation rather than moving it out of in-game play to the curio mini-games outside of game.
