Is there a reason why the hamlet soundtrack hasn't been added to the don't starve soundtrack on steam?

Just curious, since it has all the shipwrecked tracks and a lot of the trailer/animated short music in it.

One word. Money. 
Klei didn't bother to monetize DS or come up with another DS version, but with monetization and update support. They consider it unprofitable to support the single version, and it is also not profitable for them to update the DS soundtrack. 
And besides Hamlet, there's a lot of music missing from DST. 

Money. Money says that Solo DS and Solo DST are not profitable ( Even though solo players buy skins in DST )

Lack of time and money. All the audio people at Klei are working on different stuff, but they do want to add all the music, from DLC, from trailers, etc someday

might be an issue with who made the music. if the licensing rights are difficult or expensive then it would be more prudent to not add them, there is also the likelihood that the contract the musician(s) signed did not include streaming and/or downloading outside of the game itself. i've done contracts where the assets i made were ONLY usable within the game itself and can easily imagine this is a possibility here

We had trailer music for some dst updates in the soundtrack it looked like but not the hamlet tracks is all, thats why I was confused.

Perhaps this explains why Klei can't write a soundtrack for DST and DS longer than a minute
