Woby and beefalos army question

Hello dear friends, I'm here with a question.

I came to idea of having personal beefalos army with Woby's help for Walter. The idea was to craft 9 bells, attach to beedalos one by one, and put them all into Woby. Then wait till spring so they will be in heat, and fight bee queen with my army of aggresssive beefalos while wearing a beefalo hat.

You might think Chester will be useful for it too - nope since beefalos in heat will kill him. But anyways delievering the herd to a boss is doable this way also.

 

Anyway the issue I've encountered was that beefalos won't go into heat - maybe because of Woby, or because of they are attached to the bell (hovever before the update untamed beefalos with a bell went into heat normally). I wonder if anyone knows something about that - was it some recent change, was beefalos 'heat' state removed completely if beefalo is attached to the bell, or was it just because of Woby?

One thing came to my mind is: probably this was an intential change since 'Woby here, Woby there' could deliever the herd of beefalos in heat to the base and grief this way. Any researches/maybe some news I've missed on that?

Yeah but you still need them to go in heat because they'll never voluntarely aggro on BQ otherwise. BQ prioritirizes player and mobs who attack it.

Player can have only one bonded bell in his inventory, but if you bond - put bell into woby, bond another beef, put it into Woby etc., you can have 9+1 bonded beefalos. If you have chester, then more.

Walter shouldn’t be able to bond with Beefalo why?? This is why:

 



I can kill a boss, cook and craft the ingredients needed to have a pet, but can’t adopt one…

What makes beefalo the exception?

Why the convirsation turns into that?

Walter is actually able to tame a beefalo. Woby is actually able to bind 9+ beefalos with the help of Woby. These are the facts.

THe question is: should these bonded beefalos in Woby inventory go into heat same way as non-bonded beefalos do?

 

Since there was a QoL beefalo change, did anyone noticed their bonded beefalos still go in heat?

I'm willing to bet that the in universe reason is she thinks Walter feels they're more cute/cool than her and will try to replace her whereas she's not self conscious of the beefalo.

Drop the bells near bee queen hive, relog then unbond those beefalos, now their spawn has changed to that location repeat if you need more beefalos. 

 

Idk if they made changes to taming but at least now they are just like wild beefalos so they should go into heat as usual.

In other words, Woby probably doesn't see herself as a big dog even while transformed.
