yes I also expected a Krampus reference for Wortox alignment things. I just had mostly Abigail in mind when I wrote the post since I had expected something for her specifically x_x

Is anyone else a bit annoyed that there was no reference on why Abigail suddenly under certain circumstances with the new skilltree be able to for a small moment take on a more human-ghost instead of bedsheet ghost form? 

I had expected there to be something changing in the story of the game to make this sudden change.

it is to appease people who were loudly arguing that abigail should break the established standard of bedsheet ghosts and be fully human-shaped. thisseems to be the compromise they came up with

This explains a lot! (I prefer the bedsheet ghosts way more and had hoped for an explanation not just a „WE CHANGE IT FOR POPULARITY“ thing) :wilson_incredulous: (That‘s probably why it felt so fanon to me, since it falls into the things that irritate me when being done by creators not by fans)

Bro the net wasn't a new idea. This was proposed at the beginning of the beta, when they were posting about how important balance was. The control change is another issue that was brought up right away. because someone forgot how controller teleport works, we're stuck with trash affinities that don't do anything too. I get that it's coming, but that's a pretty bad excuse with how long the update was in beta, and how few changes went into wortox.

The features are not exclusives and will be out when they can the functionality was added right before the update launched and past the console build certification period.

Thank you for the reply. Sorry for getting so upset over it. I totally understand that it wasn't intended to be a PC exclusive feature. It was pretty annoying to find that out in game. There was no way to tell if it was a bug, if it was delayed, or if it was unavailable to be implemented with the current control scheme.

I reached out to other players on platform to see if anyone figured it out. Most of the players were either under the impression that the net was cancelled, or they were unaware of the expanded use. One player thought the bug to pick up spiders+ was the intended use. When I remembered seeing that bug was fixed, it caught me to to speed. At that point, the general confusion the other players were experiencing over the feature was pretty uncomfortable. I corrected the people that responded, and linked comments and videos to the people who thought the feature was cancelled.

most console players get their information from content creators and the wiki, so even if the delay was communicated here, it's not guaranteed to get to the players ears. That being said, there was no source for accurate information. With no information to pass on, speculation is all that's left.

I didn't mean to imply that the function would remain exclusive to the PC. The three potential possibilities I outlined in the first paragraph would have helped to inform when the change might hit console. The synergy with soul pierce can substitute for the decoy in some builds. If the delay is substantial, the viability of that build doesn't hold up as well compared to other options. The current control issues have similar problems. While we have confirmation that it's being worked on, the gap between the console edition and PC was exaggerated with wortox's skill tree on release. I've expressed how aggravating this is in most of my recent posts. It really impacted my play experience negatively.

So far, we know that they're bringing console controls to PC version first, then they'll implement the changes. Beyond that, there hasn't been anything certain. They're aware it's an issue at this point, but I don't want to pretend to know their experience with the problem. The issues become pretty apparent once you're hands on, so it should be pretty hard to miss.
