Mike23Ua Posted February 28, 2025 Share Posted February 28, 2025 I think it’s probably because without a headstone, there is no way to “upgrade” a grave without one. The first time I upgraded a tombstone it was super weird and awkward to see the ghost with this gleeful expression on its face. I guess extra work could be done so that graves without headstones can have GMBW Shody Makeshift ones built and applied as an upgrade before being upgraded like normal but, maybe Klei felt like that was too much extra work? And outside of That I have no earthly idea what even upgrading the tombstones actually does gameplay wise, they don’t appear to become Wendy’s followers, I guess maybe they just become Non-Aggressive to Non-Wendy players? The game doesn’t give any sort of description as to what upgrading the tombstones does, does it boost Abigail’s damage or speed up her bloom rate or does it just make ghosts float around with a goofy expression on their face?
