Winter is nearly over but the season of survival never ends, and there's something still waiting under the skill tree for the naughty, and the nice!

Introducing "Resurrected" Skins

We have skins that are no longer available because they are proof of purchase rewards on official merch that are no longer for sale. We want to make these available to players but do not want to disrupt the inherent value that they have by their rarity and cost to acquire. We also have players that cannot get these skins through purchasing our merch due to issues with supply or the cost of shipping.

When introducing a new Resurrected Skin, we will give it away for a short period of time for free - through various methods. Either at that time or just a short while afterward, that skin will then also be added to the game as available for purchase based on a percentage of the original cost of the physical good that digital bonus item was linked to.

For our first Resurrected skin, we are giving a number of the Resurrected Crabpack skin codes available to ambassadors to give away in any way that they choose. It will become available for purchase in game at a later time. 

Go check out our list of Ambassadors and try to score one for yourself!

We have been having a ton of meetings and discussions regarding the roadmap and upcoming content for DST. Ultimately, we have come to some conclusions that we are not currently able to share until after the "From Beyond" story arc is complete. 

We have two more big updates left in the arc that we expect to conclude in September. We may have teasers or - other things - as we head toward sharing these plans, but we can't share details or timing for that right now.  

As soon as we get to the point that we can share more information, a more proper content plan will be provided.

I wasn't able to submit a bug report, clicking "A" to submit the report edits the text instead of submitting.

Whenever I make changes to the world settings, the game dashboards on the load screen between 35 and 40%. After relaunch, the game loads normally. So far, I've tried changing the worlds name, description, password, and events.

Also, is there a way to use wortox's weapon as a net yet on console? I'm not able to get the option to catch to come up.

There's an issue in this new update that causes the game to crash during a loading screen. I'd say the chances are around 50/50 between if you are going to load in or crash.

Maybe, but I'm I've tried this 5 times, and it's been consistently crashing at the same spot. I didn't feel the need to test further.

Edit: 6 times out of 6, it's definitely triggering a crash for me.

I don’t really want to seem like a jerk about this, and in the past I had been far more lenient on Klei because they were trying to crunch out updates as fast as possible so I was more “forgiving” of some Mistakes that had been made…

But when you Delay an update that was supposed to come out several months ago and that update releases still feeling rushed with a lack of polish- It gets frustrating.

It seems painfully obvious that Klei doesn’t have anyone hired to work on how the game functions using a Xbox controller & you can clearly tell that just by spending 30 seconds playing as Walter in this new skill tree update.

pressing B to open up “Woby Actions” and then the more important part- Actually Navigating through those actions should be as simple as flicking the analog stick left or right or up and down in the direction of whatever action your trying to perform.

But this…? I think you have to hold Up on the analog stick and rotate it till it highlights what you want to interact with.

And before you say my controller is broken, no I tested this with 3 different controllers and what SHOULD be simple, fast and easy… just Isn’t. :wilson_facepalm:

Also it wouldn’t hurt if pressing D-pad on Raw Monster Meat in your inventory while you are accessing the storage box of Woby (with the drying rack upgrade) to default onto the drying rack instead of trying to feed it to her.

And don’t even get me started on how much slower playing as Wendy is now compared to before & after this update, something as important as “Sooth & Rile Up” should still be as simple as it used to be before this update. 

Instead: You now have to scroll to the flower in your inventory, then press the D-pad to “whisper” which pulls up the command menu, then you have to flick the analog stick to the Sooth/rile, and confirm it, when it USE to be as easy as scrolling to the flower and tapping D-pad to toggle between the stances.

I see far more Wendy players with Abby set to 24/7 riled cause they haven’t had time to stop moving and change her back.

Please for the love of god Klei…. Hire your own kids or something to play test this game on controllers..!

And NOT from a development perspective, that’s where you’re going wrong… do it from a “how do I make this feel comfortable, responsive and actually fun on a controller?” Perspective.

It's only one extra inventory slot, but it can help alot. I think adding Keyboard and Mouse support to this game will fix some of the fuss about this horrible port, other than the game running like hot garbage and sometimes unplayable on occasion. Might as well call this game "Don't Play Together"...

You'll see substantial improvements if you reduce the number of spider nests. Once they hit 3, I like to reduce it to a cluster for farming with a couple spread throughout the map. The crash on load screens doesn't go down with this unfortunately.

I believe it is a save issue. I sometimes play on my megabase world using an exploit that allows me to disable the save feature in game, and I experienced ZERO crashes whatsoever when saving is disabled. I believe that there is a limit for how many items can be saved at the same time before the game crashes, but I could be wrong though.image.png.bfa3319872b44bba18740875859d8178.png
