Reaching 2 makes soul pierce worse, and makes overloading easier. You must pick it for Bastion. If you're going solo Nice 8 6, there's no avoiding Bastion. Soul Decoy 2 actively makes decoys worse, as you want them to explode. Having them last longer time wise also does nothing, in practice.
