Add a "Possession" command in the team spirit branch/在团队精神分支里添加一个“夺舍”指令

  The "Possession" command allows Abigail to take control of creatures that are in a state of sleep or fear. When this happens, the player's perspective shifts to the controlled creature, allowing the player to control its movement and basic attacks.
Skill Mechanism Detail:
  • Abigail will enter the body of the creature that is in a state of sleep or fear. The controlled creature's eyes will glow white.
  • For balance, the controlled creature cannot attack other creatures of the same species.
  • Abigail can only possess medium and small creatures. She cannot possess large creatures, creatures with the "Giant" tag, or creatures without a mind.
  • Wendy needs to control Abigail's soul to possess creatures using her own mental power (similar to Professor X from the movie "X-Men"). Therefore, she must remain stationary and cannot perform any actions.
  • If Wendy takes damage for any reason, the "Possession" will be immediately interrupted, and the perspective will return to the player. Wendy will lose 15 sanity points due to the forced interruption.
  • Wendy can interrupt the "Possession" at any time voluntarily without losing sanity points.
  • There is a maximum distance between the controlled creature and Wendy. When approaching this distance, there will be a clear indication (the eyes' glow will dim). If the distance is exceeded, the "Possession" will be interrupted. The maximum distance is slightly less than the player's loading range to prevent various bugs.
  • Whether the "Possession" is terminated voluntarily or involuntarily, Abigail will exit the controlled creature and be hated by it.
The cooldown for this ability is 1 minute. The cooldown timer only starts after the "Possession" state ends. Since Wendy uses a shared cooldown design, all skills will be unavailable during this time.
 

  “夺舍”指令可以让Abigail去夺舍正处于睡眠或者恐惧状态下的生物的控制权,此时玩家的视角来到被控生物身上,可以操控被控生物的移动和普通攻击。

技能机制细节:

  • Abigail会进入处于睡眠/恐惧状态生物的体内,被控生物眼睛会冒出白光。
  • 作为平衡,被控生物不能攻击和自己同类的生物。
  • Abigail只能夺舍中小型生物,不能夺舍大型生物,有“巨兽”标签的生物和没有心智的生物。
  • 温蒂需要通过自己的精神力控制Abigail的灵魂去夺舍生物(就像电影《X战警》里的X教授一样),所以需要处于原地不能进行任何行动。
  • 一旦温蒂因为任何原因扣血了,“夺舍”行为会立即被打断,视角回到玩家身上,温蒂因为被动打断会扣除15点理智值。
  • 温蒂可以随时主动中断“夺舍”行为,温蒂不会因此被扣除理智值
  • 被控生物和温蒂间的距离有一个最大值,接近这个距离时有明显的提示(眼睛发光变暗),如果超过这个距离后“夺舍”将被打断。最大距离略小于玩家的加载范围(防止出现各种bug
  • 不论是主动还是被动解除“夺舍”状态,都会让Abigail从被控生物体内出来并被被控生物仇恨。
  • 该技能CD1分钟,“夺舍”状态结束后CD才进入倒计时,由于温蒂采用共享CD的设计,此时所有技能都不可用。

I did this on purpose. Isn't this a form of interaction between skills? I even hope that Lunar Abigail's "Haunting" ability could put creatures into a brief sleep to support this skill.

Depends on where "Possession" is on the skill tree, I guess. If its just Team Spirit 4, it's probably too easy.

Don't take it too seriously, because this skill is not overly powerful; it's just fun enough.

Though the idea is interesting itself, I doubt if it can provide any practical use. The only useful situation for this I can imagine is to possess a chariot in the ruins and smash the way out

  1. War Wagons do not have minds (they do not drop Wortox's Soul), so they cannot be possessed.
  2. DST is a sandbox game, and this is a highly creative mechanism. What it can do depends on the players' creativity. We just need to ensure that it is fun enough. I think the development of Abigail's uses by players shouldn't be limited to her combat applications.

Mob creatures are weak in general, there's almost nothing that a mob creature can do but a player cannot. I still doubt how much effect this can provide. 

I love this idea. I can control the Deadly Brightshade and actively target the Bright-Eyed Frogs I hate the most. It’s so satisfying to watch them get taken down.

It doesn't sound like it has anything to do with Wendy's gameplay, just a flavor skill.

Although it's better as a flavor skill than a vengeful ghost, I don't think it's what Wendy needs most right now.
