Regarding small Woby's "Hunger" - is it a true "hunger" bar or just a "transformation" bar?

I was found that the "hunger" bar of small woby has a weird performance for the game immersion - it won't lose as same as what the "hunger" work for other critters; It won't lose as same as what the "hunger" work for characters or Big Woby. It just keep stay here until you fill it to full for big Woby mutation. 

I thought that the "hunger" of small Woby should works same as other "hunger" mechanic in DST, or, could we just add a new aesthetic icon for the "hunger" bar of small Woby, to make it seems like a "mutation" bar (similar as the Woodie's mechanic of DS) but not a "hunger" bar?

Though if the icon has changed into a "mutation" bar, Idk how to balance the deliver ability when Woby in her small form.

Woodie's transformations don't need hunger. As well as beefalo, they have hunger stats but don't need it to survive. Both creatures, pretty similar to Woby.

I always saw it as a transformation bar that is disguised as hunger, since the way to transform Woby is to feed her
