Baark0
There's simply no good reason for a mob that goes untargetable for ~3 seconds to have so much health, its basically changed the nightmare phase in the ruins from something you could play around if you were good enough into something you pretty much just have to avoid. Realistically these thing should have anywhere from 250 health at the lowest to 350 at the highest. Then you add on the planar protection and knockback post shadow rifts and these things just become so incredibly tedious to kill, and all they drop is like, a couple of pure horror. The only saving graces these things have is that they're exclusively nightmare creatures, I don't want to imagine a world where these things could spawn due to low sanity. Well-met
I would cut 100-150 hp maybe, but below beak health would be stupid, as its clearly bigger and meant to be a superior shadow threat. Another point to consider is that it's not a sanity monster, therefore multiple players can engage it. Yes, DST is still a multiplayer game despite popular beliefs Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/164124-lurking-nightmares-could-do-with-a-health-reduction/#findComment-1798095 Share on other sites
Baark0
multiple players can engage sanity monsters at once too, so this argument doesnt really work imo Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/164124-lurking-nightmares-could-do-with-a-health-reduction/#findComment-1799682 Share on other sites
