Malfario
Make the gunpowder ammo be able to chop, mine and hammer structures and things. make the rounds thrown count as 2 chops/mines and if it explodes it instantly takes down the thing it impacts. from the main dps rounds it falls a bit behind thulecite and rift amo, this feature i think would make it worth enabling even for just some niche uses. Toadstool trees, hammer statues in the ruins from a distance and send woby to colect them, pure brilliance farming, taking down the monkey raids canon, marble tree farming, taking down lunnar spider nests etc etc. Walter skilltree its looking absolutly fantastic, thank you so much for team for all the hard work that was put into this beta, much love to all. aidancode
considering walter can already befriend 2 pigs per monster meat in the form of woby treats, i dont think he's really begging for more tools to chop with Link to comment https://forums.kleientertainment.com/forums/topic/163825-little-sugestion-for-gunpowder-amo/#findComment-1794707 Share on other sites

Walter suddenly becoming a resource collector in that way is the one thing that feels weird about his tree now. And woby choping/mining is fun and usefull but its more of a buff to your tools durability rather than an actual harvesting ability. 4 minutes ago, Chewabacca said: Kind of wish he couldn't, honestly. I think its perefectly in line with his character, he is a scout he knows how to collect stuff to survive on the wilds. I'm fine with him getting a boost to his ability to collect food, but wood and stone? Boy scouts aren't chopping down trees. Also disagreed with the part about it being just a buff to tool durability because all you have to do is swing an axe/pickaxe one time and she'll finish off what's around you. If that wasn't the case and you had to keep chopping/mining alongside her, I'd be fine. Pigs are underutilized and Walter leading them to the forest feels like a Walter-y thing. I think it's a creative way to give him some chopping power since it's still much more expensive than, say, Wurt or Maxwell. I use pigs a bunch just because Walter is generally very good at getting meat, but I didn't know anything in his skill tree affected them. I wouldn't call it OP necessarily because it feels weird to call something like that OP, but I would say it makes Walter about on par with human-form Woodie. She's not going to be decimating an entire forest, but you don't need to decimate an entire forest. Also it makes Woby feel less like Walter's partner and more like his underling when she keeps working even while he's not. I know she's a dog, but Walter isn't Maxwell (vibes-wise, I mean). His dog should be working with him, not for him. Steorra
I don't think to make gunpowder ammo could go chop is reasonable. But to make it could go chop but at the same time would ignite what it hitted is reasonable. somethin
I'm just concerned people are going to be firing these things around on accident and blow up structures honestly.
