Poll on Wendy's Affinity Skill

In the last two updates, both the Shadow Affinity and Lunar Affinity skills of Wendy have been changed. The Shadow Affinity further enhances Wendy's existing playstyle, increasing the benefits when Abigail is alive. The Lunar Affinity, on the other hand, introduces a new behavior pattern for Abigail (with the strict penalty of losing AoE capabilities), requiring players to choose between Lunar Abigail and Normal Abigail based on the lunar phase and current objectives.

To add, I would choose the entire Lunar Sisterhood line. Lunar I is a straightforward enhancement of numerical values, and Lunar II can slightly increase Abigail's damage output. As for Lunar III, I would only use her to deal with the Celestial Champion III. After defeating this boss, I would immediately revert back to Normal Abigail under the cover of moonless night.

Choosing Lunar Sisterhood III is solely for dealing with the Celestial Champion boss. The main reason I don't pick Shadow is that the "murder" mechanic is just too annoying.

your build seems more like "no Sisterhood III" tbh.

CC III is easy once you got gloomy boomerang, and we all knew that AFW is extremely easy for experienced Wendy.

There are just too many skill points for Wendy, and I don't know what to spend them on, so I ended up putting them into Lunar Sisterhood III. It still has its uses, after all, the demand for Enlightenment Shards is quite high in the late game.

I usually go through the Lunar main storyline first before tackling the Shadow main storyline. I've fought the Celestial Champion so many times just for the Enlightenment Shards, and it feels much easier for me compared to the Ancient Fuel Weaver. I rarely use the Gloomy Boomerang; I prefer to ride a Beefalo and engage in melee combat, which can deal higher damage when combined with Abigail's output.

for now, i still have yet to try lunar, but i feel it'd absolutely be up my alley in terms of being able to swap abi to gestalt for specific bosses, while also having normal for a bunch. sadly shadow/normal abi can be worked around so i dont care too much for it (plus it just makes fights more engaging). i will have to see for myself after more testing gestalt abi

i also love that the vexation potion encourages more creative ways to do damage, either with multiple mobs or you use a thulecite club (plus benefits with more players and more thulecite clubs ) (i really love thulecite club)

CC3 is really fun with normal abi, you just rile her up, she will always trigger CC's melee attack meaning you can just use escape on reaction. youve mentioned you use a beefalo so its essentially riskless if you want to participate in the fight.

Yes, I mentioned this tactic in my previous post and have also tried it myself. Compared to Lunar Abigail, its margin for error is much lower, and using the escape command itself can also affect the efficiency of damage output. However, this doesn't change the fact that it's a very good method that broadens the strategies for dealing with Celestial Champion III. I've seen some content creators on Bilibili using this method to ensure that both Wendy and Abigail can deal damage efficiently while surviving against CC III without taking any damage. I'll practice this more in the future.

CC as wendy is so awesome, it feels like why i love klaus. you can fight with barely any resources and just need to do it well XD truly feels like youre outsmarting the boss

me personally on average, i just used a hambat, 2 vigor mortises, 3 spectral cure-alls, cane and mag, with 10 green caps (i bottomed my sanity before starting the boss)

its why i love playing as wendy now, team spirit skills are super awesome
