This post will not be accompanied by a quotation translation, and this post and subsequent trends will be synchronized to Baidu Tieba, a Chinese DST exchange community, and we look forward to a good communication environment.

This is a forum full of lies, other forums always full of insults. But many people here think lies are far better than insults, for their strange superiority. (Which of them should be same.)

It seems we cannot expect logical debate in anywhere. That's the humanity. Fine.

We are tired of arguing with players from other countries, and we need an official answer. This, combined with Wendy's one-sided negative reviews in the Chinese community, was enough to make us boycott the purchase of the character skins that will be updated next, and don't forget, we have a huge player base.

The more exhausting thing is of arguing with others who have bias and full of lies. They simply keep their flexible standard by their arrogance and prejudice, and they would just turning to give accusations and even dog whistle (for anti outsiders) once the logic and truth were not good for them.

Such behaviours of xenophobia.

Its very sad that Klei doesnt care about Chinese players and focuses only on this forum, where there are maybe 20-40 active users at most, which doesnt even represent 1% of Dont Starve players. Its quite troubling that Klei relies so heavily on just a few regular players who engage on this forum, instead of focusing on other communities where more players share their opinions.

I apologize first, the following content may cause discomfort.

The most disgusting thing is never the bias itself, but people's attitudes toward it. Bias is inevitable because differences will always exist, however what worries me the most is that the admins seem to be permissive to bias against Chinese players. I'm done with people who claim to know Chinese players but don't even know how respected Wickbottom is in the Chinese community spouting off Wendy is popular because she is“Traditionally feminine”, and I'm tired of seeing people demand that suggestions must be constructive while willfully ignoring stupid designs due to the designer's low level of gameplay. The  most terrible thing for me personally is that I found out about this a year ago and tried to warn everyone about it over and over again, but no one believed me. I'm ready to be banned, and here's what I must say: There is a malicious and toxic atmosphere against Chinese players in this forum,  and it has traumatized me. Klei claims to support Chinese on Bilibili, meanwhile its forum rules said that players must post in English, and some people who hold hostility against Chinese players compel Chinese players to use English, while mocking those who do use it for their "terrible" English. I can't help but wonder if the admins' behavior is contributing to racism. Are you trying to build a Tower of Babel? Because in my opinion, this behavior is deliberately dividing the player base to cover up the incompetence of the designer.

Tbh I have no idea how the feedback collecting progress works in Bilibili. I personally would like to doubt it since the Bilibili has its own issues for basic communication as a platform. Bilibili could be a good community of videos, but it would be unsuitable for wording communication.

And even worse, we were all doubting that if Klei had a member could read Chinese feedback from Bilibili or not.

Yes. It's extremely unfair that mods here seems continuously ignoring the bias and malicious toward outsiders, but once as an outsider you showed out your emotions which based on those unfriendly actions, mods would come and warn you.

Use English, so others can understand you.

thats not a xenophobic remark

i am literally polish? We use polish in my country, not English. I have not seen a single negative remark regarding someone’s English abilities on this forum.

english is widely accepted as the language for online communication between countries.

Comments on this posts are full of prejudice, not the forum.

It was a shorten of "moderators". It's a bit hard for me to recall hiw to spell moderator. I'm sorry for troubled you by my bad English...

We already gave enough evidence to tell you why some of them insisted to use Chinese for communication. Klei has promised that the official forum of Klei has supported to Chinese from very earlier according to a thread they posted on Bilibili.

You'd better to go questioning Klei first before give your dogma or even accusations to innocents.

So why did klei say on blibli that the forum supports Chinese? If that's not the case, why do they say?How long do we need to hide our disappointment?

I personally agree with using English on the forum, it is Klei  who claimed on bilibili that the forum support Chinese. I can use English, but can you please go and persuade some people to stop laughing at our “terrible English”?

The translator must be broken. They probably meant the forum’s built-in translation software.

a lot of posts on the forums are translated to the reader’s language

It sometimes happens with Chinese, sometimes it does not. It needs fixing, but they did not know it doesn’t work, since the Chinese barely used this forum.

You're showed what is bias and what is "continuously ignoring the fact if the fact doesn't good for your argument" vividly. It's nice when we started an argument, the evidence comes theirselves.

I’m sorry if that has ever happened to you. There are jerks everywhere, don’t mind them. Most of us are grateful when you use the language we can understand and talk to you with.

No, they won't. They just come here for pretending to be a "rational" users for more malicious showing. The truth and evidence is never a thing for them.

I saw it. I am not lying though. There is translation software and it can often be seen when someone else quotes someone and there’s a different language than in the original post.

For why it malfunctions with Chinese? I don’t know. On paper it should have worked, in theory it malfunctions often.

klei probably didn’t know about it, since how would they know that their translator doesn’t work if almost no one using that language ever used it?

You could simply say that the truth is not a truth but just a misunderstanding caused by broken translator. It's just a sorry excuse to those who knew both English and Chinese.

Thank you for your understanding, as I said earlier, it is not the Chinese players who caused this situation, but Klei itself, yet we have suffered a long period of hostility because of it, and I sincerely hope that Klei can answer this question directly: Does the Klei forum support posting in Chinese or not? If the answer is “yes”, then please ask the admin to regulate the discriminatory behavior towards Chinese players in the community; if the answer is ‘no’, then please add a new rule to the rules: “Mocking other people's English is forbidden”.

I gave you all a possible description of the situation. If you cannot accept the possibility that someone created a translation software, on paper it should have worked, it bugs out when presented with a lot of posts from that language, then we have nothing to talk about, because you are being mad to just be mad for no reason. Unable to accept that mistakes happen for humans and software.

I’m sure if this post gains enough traction they will take action.

Sorry again if you were being nice to someone and they were hostile I’m sorry. It’s not like we all are prejudiced.

edit: sorry steorra I misunderstood your message. I agree with you.

IT'S KLEI'S MISTAKE,NOT OURS! Why are we suffering from this?
